  • "And the Lord said to Joshua,  “Today I will
  • begin to exalt you in the eyes of all Israel, so
  • they may know that I am with you as I was 
  • with Moses."

JOSHUA 3:14-16

  • "So when the people broke camp to cross the Jordan, the priests carrying 
  • the ark of the covenant went ahead of them.Now the Jordan is at flood stage  
  • all during harvest. Yet as soon as the priests who carried the ark reached 
  • the Jordan and their feet touched the water’s edge,  the water from upstream 
  • stopped flowing…So the people crossed over opposite Jericho"

  • Then the Lord said to Joshua. "See, I have 
  • DELIVERED Jericho into your hands"

  • And you went over the Jordan and came to Jericho, and the leaders of Jericho fought 
  • against you, and also the Amorites, the Perizzites, the Canaanites, the Hittites, the 
  • Girgashites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites. And I gave them into your hand.  I gave you a 
  • land on which you had not labored and cities that you had not built, and you dwell in them.
  • You eat the fruit of vineyards and olive orchards that you did not plant.’
