SLAVERY

  • After Jospeh was sold into slavery by his brother, he was taken to Egypt. There an Egyptian man named Potifer bought him. He started at the lowest ranks of slaves but he did everything his best and worked very hard on his "slave" work. Potifer notice this and not to long after Joseph became the head slave master at Potifer house.
  • Main Point: This shows that if you work hard at everything you do, God will reward you in ways unexpected.

BROTHERS

  • When Joseph was overseer of Egypt, he was also in charge of selling all Egypt's stored grain. After a while his brother came up and tried to buy grain. They didn't recognize him but he recognized them. He accused them of being spy's and would only sell them grain if they brought Josephs younger brother Benjamin. In the end Joseph was able to forgive his brothers after all they've put him through.
  • Main Point: Always forgive, no matter what they do to you.

TRUST
