PRESENTATION OUTLINE
I'm a water molecule going through the water cycle. I will explain the process if I used gravity or sunlight, and my change of state.

My first stop is surface soil. I'm currently in the state of a liquid. Soon I will become a gas by the process of evaporation. Evaporation is caused by heat gain and sunlight.

Evaporation is when liquid water changes into water vapor. Water vapor is also a gas.

Now I'm a cloud. This happens when a collection of small water droplets or ice crystals suspend in the air. A cloud forms when the air is cooled.
The process of condensation occurs when clouds are formed. This changed me into a gas. Heat loss causes water to condense.

You're probably wondering how I ended up here so, let me tell. When a cloud is less dense then the air, precipitation occurs. This turned me into a solid because the water precipitated and froze. Gravity causes precipitation.

I eventually will unfreeze and go downhill. This is called a runoff. The force that causes this is gravity. When this happens I go to a river. I change from a solid to a liquid.

A runoff is usual water that flows across land and collects in rivers, streams, and eventually the ocean.

This happens when an animal drinks the water from the river. My state of matter hasn't changed.
This could go two ways. The animal could excrete (take care of its business) or respire (exhale). Thank the heavens the animal chose to respire. This changed me into a gas, once again.

Gravity plays a big role in the water cycle. It helps moves water molecules like me, around. Gravity is a force that attracts anything that contains living organisms or is a living organism toward the center of the earth.

Sunlight is just light from the sun , nothing more. What am I saying? Sunlight gives us energy, vitamins, light, and much more. If the sun ... lets say disappeared, we would disappear. That's right, forgotten. So I would thank the sun if I were you but I'm not. I'm a water molecule but I will say the sun does many things for us. I wouldn't be able to form a cloud or go to a body of water.
