  • Sailed along the coast, and a storm blew his ship
  • past the Golden Gate.
  • Anchored on San Miguel Island.

  • Discovered present day California.
  • Exposed the San Diego Bay.
  • Found several other bays and inlets.

  • Brought the first Europeans to California.
