• Ended political corruption in the senate
• Introduced our modern calander
• Allowed more people to become citizens of Rome

He made many enemies in Rome because he banned elections and made himself dictator

Romans were divided - some loved Caesar and others hated Caesar

He was murdered by Senators on the 15th of March, 44BCE

This caused riots in the streets of Rome and plunged the Romans into a civil war
