Not everything that doesn't interest you has to be boring (ex. when Spencer got the task of filming Gloria Lorraine, he was jealous that his cousins got better opportunities to prove themselves but he later found out that it wasn't so bad after all because he learned many things)

Spencer risked getting shot by the gangsters so he could save Gloria, AmberLea, and Al which proved that throughout the journey, he learned a lot about the people he was travelling with and had more respect for them.

The main character, Spencer, found some shocking facts about his grandfather and Gloria Lorraine's past that changed his view about her (ex. finding out Gloria is not just a random actress his grandfather admired)
