JURASSIC PERIOD

PLANT LIFE

• Mostly ferns were prominent in the Jurassic Period
• Contrary to popular belief there were no palm trees in the Jurassic Period
• There were also a lot of tall trees that were eaten by the mostly herbivores animal life

ANIMAL LIFE

• The animal life was mostly herbavores at the time.
• There were acually very litte carnivores
• The commonly known T-Rex was not alive at the time.

WEATHER

• The climate was very warm and humid
• There was, however, a subtropic climate in some regions

SEA LIFE

• Much of the sea life were sponges
• Some believe thst some of the gigantic monsters of the sea are still alive today
• Some of the smaller sea animals were the most dangerous

FIRST BIRDS

• The jurassic period was the first to have birds
• They had some birds that are extinct today such as the dodo bird
