• The origination of birds (archaeopteryx)
• Fishlike water dwelling dinosaurs (plesiosaurus)
• Land plants (cyads). Early mammals (rats)

• Reptiles, mostly dinosaurs.

Major increases and decreases/mass extinctions.
During the transition from the Triassic period to Jurassic there was a mass extinction. Other than that life thrived in the Jurassic.
Then at the end of the Jurassic there was another mass extinction that gave rise to the Cretaceous period.

MAJOR CHANGES

• Pangea started to split apart
• Underwater volcanos made water rise
• Many shallow seas and oceans were formed
• Coral reefs and Thick forests began to appear
• Warm,humid,tropical climate was made

Major developments of earth during the Jurassic.
Some major developments were the supercontinent Pangea started splitting apart. The Jurassic also developed what is now the Atlantic Ocean and Gulf of Mexico.
