Juvenile
Def: A word for young people

This picture connects because it shows a young boy who had to take mug shots for being arrested and juvenile means young.

Delinquent
Def: A young person doing bad things, having bad behavior or committing a minor crime.

This picture connects because it shows kids being bad by slashing tires and taking the air out of them and delinquent means doing bad things and having bad behavior.

Reform
Def:Make changes in order to improve something

This picture connects because reform means to make changes in order to improve something and the picture shows that if theirs a problem, theirs always a solution. You just have to make changes to do that, like reform.

Prosecute
Def: Institute legal proceedings against someone

This picture connects because prosecute means to institute legal proceedings against someone and the picture shows the judge about to slam the hammer mallet thing because that’s what they do to show that the court is in session to start the trial.

Offender
Def: A person who commits and illegal act

This picture connects because offender means committing and illegal act and the picture shows a guy arrested for committing and illegal crime.

Conviction
Def: A formal declaration that someone is guilty

This picture connects because conviction means a declaration that someone is guilty and the picture shows a guy in hand cuffs and when your guilty and you’ve been sentenced, you stand up to be taken away in hand cuffs.

Incarceration
Def: Confined in prison; Imprisonment

This picture connects because incarceration means confined and locked up in prison and the picture shows a jail or prison cell blocks and you can see arms of some people locked up.

Overrepresentation
Def: More of one group in a certain place

I couldn’t really find a picture for this because I don’t really understand this one.

Mandatory
Def: Required by law or rules

This picture connects because mandatory means rules or something required and the picture shows a sign saying required because mandatory and required sort of mean the same thing.

Deterrent
Def: A thing that is intended to discourage someone from doing something

This picture connects because deterrent means something intended to discourage somebody and the picture is a picture of a sign that shows no swimming because of sharks. It’s showing a sign to discourage people from swimming so they don’t get hurt.

Disparity
Def: A great difference

This picture connects because disparity means a great differ and the picture shows a difference between a big bowl with a goldfish and a little bowl with a differ fish.

Sentence
Def: The punishment decided for the offender

This picture connects because sentence means the punishment decided for the offender and the picture shows a person who was sentenced to 3,318 years.
