The figure shows the density of French speakers in Quebec. Quebec wants to preserve the traditional French language. The density of Canadians who speak French is much lower outside of Quebec.
The figure shows where internet users were clustered in 1999. Notice how many are clustered in the USA, Western Europe, and Japan.
