Acquisition of Food (Karankawa)

  • After killing a warrior in battle they would practice cannibalism to capture the power within the warrior.
  • They also ate berries, herbs and animals such as bison and deer.
  • The karankawa tribe did not farm like most other tribes

  • They engraved on hides, shells and their own skin.
  • They also engraved clay pots to know who it belonged to.
  • Lots of tribal paintings.

Clothing

  • Both genders reaviled the top half of their body.
  • They covered all of there tattoos.
  • Men also wore deer skin around their waist.
  • Women wore long grass skirts around their waist
