In the late 80s Karl learned the art of making clothes from his father.
He started making his own clothes and making money off of catalogs of his clothes.
His business boomed when he held a sign of his clothing line on Good Morning America in the background.

Karl's business wasn't built over night.He had to work hard in the city of Los Angeles selling custom jeans out of his car to make money.
