Location

  • Lives in modern day Colombia and Southern Yukon

Diet

  • Mainly ate Caribou, Buffalo, Mountain Goat and Smaller Game

Homes

  • Homes were A frame lodges
  • Covered in sod, brush, and animal skin
  • Most People used simple lean-tos in the summer

Government

  • Made of four divisions that were constructed of independent regional bands
  • Their goverment had no fixed membership
  • The local band memberships were provided with the best hunters
  • Women occasionally having important leadership postions

Religion

  • Some of the tribes within the Kaska from birth were taken from birth
  • Apart from the community in fear that the spirits would be contaminated
  • In thier late childhood boys began training for vision quest 
  • Women were secluded and observed various taboos during menstural
  • Periods
