Immigrants came to America for many reasons like religious freedom.

It has impacted us with with new cultures ,customs, and traditions.

So I would say it has impacted us well.

Tenement Life


Some immigrants slept in the kitchen.
Only seven people could fit in the master bedroom.About seven thousand people's lived in a tenement building.



Challenges


Some people had to work from Monday to Sunday. Streets were very crowded and hard to move through.It would get super cold in the winter then in summer it would very hot.


Benefits

Immigrants got to study a new religion. They got a clean slate. They also got democracy.
