PRESENTATION OUTLINE

Kepler 22B

Kepler 22B is an exoplanet, which means that it is an "twin" to earth
That means it could be possible to live there

K22B is also in the habitable zone. That is when the planet is not too far from the sun and not to close.

Habitable zone on different stars

  • Blue
  • Yellow
  • Red

There are a lot of positive things about this exoplanet.
Here are some examples.

Bigger than Earth

  • 2,4 times bigger
  • More space

An If all else would fail plan

With all of our problems on Earth, it could be a "safe" way to survive. To get to another planet.
It could also just be a place to live in the future.

Here are some of the probelms on Earth

Global warming
With the overuse of the carbon cycle, the icebergs are melting and causing drastic weather changes.

Resources running out

With the high use of non renewable resources and most of them are not recycled, they are going to run out.

Overpopulation

More and more people are coming to this planet and taking up more resources.

There are also some problems with Kepler too.

600 lightyears away

Even with the fastest thing there is(the speed of light) it would still take 600 years to travel to Kepler-22b.

Though there's a way to travel to Kepler without having to travel 600 years
Note.Currently there's no vechicle that can travel in the speed of light

Wormholes

A worm hole is a phenomenom in the theory of relativity that works like a shortcut.

To keep an wormhole open, we would need negative energy.

Negative energy has not yet been found(extremely hard to get)
