HOW IT SET UP

  • Kerry group origin began in Tralee Co. Kerry. It employs 36 thousand people and sales world wide.
  • It's been a business for over 22 years.
  • Denis Brosnan founded Kerry foods.
  • They sell a wide range of food and beverages.

THE PRODUCTS THEY SELL

  • They offer food in three main technologies: Dairy, Meat, savoury and meal solutions.
  • The brands they have include: Denny meats, but Cheese strings, LowLow butter etc.
  • They sell their products all over the world.
  • The companies they supply to include: Tesco, Dunnes stores, Lidl, Aldi, Sainburys etc.

EXPORTING THEIR GOODS

  • They export a large range of foods and beverages over 140 countries all over the world.
  • These countries include: America, France, China, America, England etc.

EXPANSION OF KERRY FOODS

  • They have plans on going global for €100 million in technology and innovation centre in Naas.
  • This will involve lots of research and ""product innovation""
  • Up to 800 jobs will be created by 2015, with an extra 100 coming the year after.

HOW THEY ADVERTISE

  • They use television as there main source of advertisement by using adds between breaks.
  • They also use social media as a way to advertise such as through Facebook and Twitter.
