Chapter 1:

Visible Learning:
Student Learning is visible to teacher, and all the students know the impact that they have on the learning in the school.

Effects on Learning:
Learning Bar cannot be set at 0. .40 is average. Learning effects from educators is either ABOVE .40 or BELOW the .40 bar. That relates to the Visible learning because students/educators can visibly see where they sit on the bar.

Achievement:
Achievement is above .40 bar. Nearly 1/2 of what we teach ALL students has a greater affect on learning achievements.

Critical Evaluation:
Teachers needs to be critical of what they teach. Educators need to critically evaluate the effect they have on their students.

Chapter 2:

Homework

Homework:
Homework is an educational standard that "sets educators apart" Either parents judge the teachers lack of homework as a failure, or approve of students learning outside of school. No right or wrong answer, however studies show homework is a great educational influence.

Chapter 3:

Inspired Teaching

Inspired Teaching:
When teachers are inspired and passionate about education the value of knowledge they teach students is higher and retained more by students.
