K- FRENCH AND INDIAN WAR

• I- It forbade settlers from settling past the Appalachian Mountains.
• S- The Royal Proclamation of 1763 was issued October 7, 1763.

K- STAMP ACT

• I- Required them to pay a tax on every piece of printed paper they used.
• S- The Stamp Act was passed by the British Parliament on March 22, 1765.

K- INTOLERABLE ACTS

• I- Punitive laws passed by the British Parliament in 1774 after the Boston Tea party.

• I- The document establishing the United States as a nation, adopted on July 4, 1776.
• S- The declaration was written largely by Thomas Jefferson.
