BEGINNING OF HIS REIGN

• King Ahaz was 20 years old when he his reign began
• He reigned in Jerusalem for 13 years
• David was his father
• Bathsheba was his mother

STORY OF KING AHAZ

• They invaded judah and took away 200,000 wives and children and made them slaves.
• Since ahaz was evil, judah sent a prophet and threatened him with Gods rath for kidnapping

• Then he let them go but still didnt trust the Lord.
• Then judah was invaded

• Then the lord spoke through Isaiah saying the attack would not work
• The both land would be a waste
• The lord offered a miracle but he still didnt trust him
• King ahaz was captured and then he was rescued.
• He never believed in the lord.

DEATH OF KING AHAZ

• Ahaz was burried with his ancestors
• Burried in the city of David
• His son hezekiah took his place on the throne
