Physical Apperence

  • Right claw bigger
  • Spikes all over body
  • 3 legs on each side
  • Orange like color

PHYSICAL ADAPTATIONS
The physical adaptations of a king crab are the thorns, the thorns can sometimes prevent fish from eating them, another is it's right claw, it is bigger and longer than the left. This is how they normally catch food.

Behavioral adaptations

  • Folds together to make what looks like a spiky rock.
  • Bury the eggs under the ocean floor to hide them from predators.

  • Go up to shore during mating season
  • 5 pairs of legs, 3 pairs for walking, 1 as it's arms, 1 pair is so small.
  • Other colors such as blue and gold( light brown)
  • Member of a family called the stone crabs.

Humans have caused a negative affect on king crabs, one way( as shown in picture ) is that they are over fishing and now they know where king crabs live, so that's critical damage.
