KITCHEN CLEANLINESS GUIDELINES
Step 1
Wash Counter tops, tables and other work surfaces before you begin cooking.
Step 2
Keep work surfaces and utensils clean as you work. Wipe up spills right away. Thoroughly clean utensils-and the cutting board-after each use.
Step 3
Wash pot, pans, and dishes in hot soapy water as soon as possible after using them.
Step 4
Wash tools and utensils that have been used on raw foods before you use them on cooked foods.
Step 5
Change dish towels and hand towels often.
Step 6
Dispose of all food wastes properly. Remove all garbage from the kitchen often-at least once a day-and clean the garbage can often.
Step 7
Clean up well after food preparation. Be sure work surfaces have been washed and dried. Don't forget to sweep of crumbs from the floors.
