WERE IS IT?

ITS LOCATED IN RUSSIAN CITY.

ABSOLUTE LOCATION!

55 DEGREES EAST AND 38 DEGREES NORTH.

RELATIVE LOCATION!

IT STANDS ON THE SITE OF A SMALL CATHEDRAL ERECTED.

WHAT IS IT?

ITS IS A TRIANGULAR ENCLOSURE EXTENDING ALMOST 1 1/2 MILES AROUND.

HISTORY!

  • The first kremlin was built in 1156.
  • Its made out of modern glass and concrete.
  • Buildings were added to the kremlin in 1900's.
  • The building include churches, palaces,
  • ^ ^ armories, and watchtowers.

WHY IS IT BUILT?

  • Yuri and duke had built a small wooden fort.
  • The city started growing rapidly in 1208.
  • At the same time stone buildings begain to appear.
  • By the end of the 14th century they had to build stone walls.
  • Then the kreimln became a centre of Russians.

WHEN WAS IT BUILT?

IT WAS COMPLETED IN 1961.

HOW HAS IT CHANGED OVER TIME?

IT HAS CHANGED INTO A MUSEUM.
