- It occurred because of a student named Herschel Grynszpan
On November 7th 1938 the Kristallnacht occurred because of a student named Herschel Grynszpan. He was a Polish and Jewish student; he shot a diplomat named Ernst Vom Rath. Vom Rath was part of the Hitler Organization.

- He was a 17 years old in the time of the war
