Hello, I'm Jeffrey and I want to ask if anyone has heard of the "Cheryl's birthday" question that went viral a few days ago. Has anyone tried to solve the problem? I think that the "Cheryl's birthday" question makes an interest point about our society.
Problem
- Many high school seniors enter college without well developed critical thinking skills.
- Four out of ten college graduates lack complex reasoning skills to work in the corporate world.
- Almost all businesses look for critical thinking skills in their employees.
The problem is that some graduating high school and college seniors lack the complex reasoning skills that many businesses look for in their employees.

Hypothesis
- People would improve their critical thinking skills if given the opportunity.
My hypothesis was the people would want to improve their critical thinking skills if given the chance.

Results
- Customer discovery revealed that people had different skills that they were strong at.
- People also showed that they had different skills that they were weak at.
- A possible flaw with my survey was that some people may not admit that they have weak critical thinking skills.
My customer discovery revealed that each person had their own strong and weak skills. I took these results into consideration. I think that in the future, KritThink could develop additional services that target other skills that people might want to improve on.

Initially, I wanted to make a product/ service that did not interfere with people's lives. Specifically, I did not want to create a product that was time consuming and took people away from their work. At the same time, I wanted to help people to educate themselves in an easy and cheap way. I think that games offer a good way for people to learn and have some fun while doing it. My prototype project is a gaming app that is meant to help people develop critical thinking skills.

Competition
- Luminosity offers "thinking" games.
- KritThink offers games to help with critical thinking skills. Luminosity offers games for mental health.
- KritThink will offer a basic service at $5 a month to costumers.
- KritThink will allows advertisements on their products. KritThink will also seek sponsorships.
Luminosity is my biggest competition because they also deal with mental or thinking games. My product does differ from Luminosity's because mine focuses on developing skills. Luminosity's product focuses on mental health, so I still have a niche market to cater to.
In wanting to keep my product available to as many people as possible, I will only charge five dollars for a monthly subscription. To help KritThink with additional income, I will focus on allowing advertisements on my product. I will also look for sponsorships for additional income as well.
