LA FERIA DE ABRIL

What?
A festival in the city, and a Seville fair with bull fights, fiestas, parades, dancing, and eating. Many men and woman come in there best clothes, with many women wearing dresses.

Who?
The fair has many women in Flamenco dresses normally in the color orange. Many men and women participate, many come to walk around the fiesta and watch the entertainment. People come from all over Spain.

When?
La fería de abril takes place 2 weeks after Easter. It starts at midnight on Monday and ends Sunday at midnight with a concluding firework show.

Where?
The Seville fair takes place in Andalusian capital of Seville, Spain (southern Spain). It's outside in the city in many different places for all the exciting activities. The venue is normally in Real de la feria.

Why?
Basque José Maria Ybarra and Catalonian Marciso Bonaplata originally started la fería de abril on April 18, 1847 as a livestock fair but grew and in the 1920's the fair reached its peak and is still popular today.
