  • Man v. Self
  • Man v. Man
  • Man v. Nature
  • Man v. Society

PROTAGONIST

  • The main character in a story, novel, or drama

MY PROTAGONIST

  • My protagonist is Roy Hobbs
  • He's male
  • He's somewhere in his 20's
  • He wants to be a pitcher for The Cubs

MY PROTAGONIST

  • I know he's the books protagonist because...
  • The book is about him going to Chicago and trying out for the cubs

CONFLICT

  • He gets in to a fight with The Whammer (a star batter)
  • The Whammer tells Roy to throw a couple of pitches to him
  • Roy had to strike out the Whammer
  • Sam bet money on Roy
