Definition

Lactose intolerance is a common intolerance found mostly in adults.

Lactose intolerance is when the body can't digest lactose because you don't have enough lactase in your body.

Symptoms and effects of lactose intolerance are:

Stomach pain and cramping

Swelling and bloating of the stomach

Passing gas
Diarrhoea
Vomiting

TREATMENTS

You can't treat lactose intolerance but you can watch your diet and don't eat dairy

You can buy lactose free food and drinks

You can also get over the counter medications that help you digest lactose

Causes:

Milk
Ice-cream
Yogurt
Cheese
