  • Queen of Mictlan.
  • Her role is to keep watch over the bones of the dead.
  • Mictecacihuatl is known as the Lady of the Dead.
  • Believed that she was born, then sacrificed as an infant.
  • She is skinless and has a jaw gap which swallows stars in the day.
