A vally is a low area of land between two hills or mountains, typically has a stream or river running through it.
Lucas Vally is in California.

PLAIN
A large area of land with few trees.
Great Plains go through multiple states, such as Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, etc.

REEF
A ridge jagged rock, coral, or sand slightly above or below sea level.
There's a coral reef located in the Indian Ocean.

an area of relatively level high ground
