A valley is a low area between hills or mountains that typically has a stream.
An example would be Death Valley in California and Nevada.

A plain is a large and flat area with few trees.
An example would be the Great Plains in the U.S.

A ridge of jagged rock, sand, or coral just below the surface.
An example is Glover's Reef by Belize.

A group of islands.

A deep gorge, typically one with a river flowing through it.
An example is the Grand Canyon in Arizona.

DELTA
A triangular tract of sediment deposited at the mouth of a river.
An example is where the Mississippi flows into the Gulf of Mexico.

A deep inlet of the sea almost surrounded by land.
An example is the Gulf of Mexico.
