STRAIT
- a narrow passage of water connecting two seas or two large areas of water.
- An example is the Strait of Gibraltar

- a piece of land almost surrounded by water or projecting out into a body of water.
- A well common one is the state of Florida
Isthmus
- a narrow strip of land with sea on either side, forming a link between two larger areas of land.
- An example is Isthmus of Mansheya
ARCHIPELAGO
- A group of Islands
- Hawaiian Islands are a good example of Archipelago
CANYON
- a deep gorge, typically one with a river flowing through it.
- The Grand Canyon in Arizona is a famous one

- A usually triangular alluvial deposit at the mouth of a river.
- Wax Lake Delta
GULF
- A large area of a sea or ocean partially enclosed by land, especially a long landlocked portion of sea opening through a strait.
- Gulf of Mexico
