Plain

  • Villagers in the desert plains have small harvests of cotton and wheat
  • A plain is a big level area of land
  • Wet plains are called swamps

  • Some mountains are underwater and some are on land.
  • A mountain sometimes has lots of snow.
  • There is a mountain that is the tallest its name is Mount Everest
  • A mountain is a tall landform made out of rock
  • It is hard for mountains to form

Peninsulas

  • A peninsula has three sides.
  • The word peninsula comes from Latin
  • Some peninsulas get stuck in long strips of land.
  • A peninsula is surrounded by water.
