Determined-Bold-Courageous

Family Oriented

Throughout my life my older brother(in the left of the picture) has gone through many challenging situations. He was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at a very young age and it progressed ever since. After that our family has stuck together through his surgeries and long hospitalizations. We may seem like the picture perfect family but on the inside all we have is each other.

Patience

In the previous slide I mentioned my older brother and his diagnosis. Almost every hospitalization he has had, I've watched him and my mother leave us. Some of the hospital stays lasted a couple days or they lasted near a month. But each day they weren't at home I patiently waited for him to get better.

Adaptable

My father joined the army in 2004. I was 4 years old at the time and we moved to Fort Bragg North Carolina. The only thing I never liked was leaving people and places behind. My family and I have been stationed at Fort Sam Houston for almost ten years now. Instead of new places there are new people.

Compassionate

For three years my family and I fostered medical foster children. By medical foster children, I mean a child with a disability ranging from a g-tubes to DNR's. I volunteered and donated my time to helping them through their rough times and finding them a forever home.
