  • 1800-1830 colonies began to declaring their independence from Europe natuons
  • Started establishing democracies threw Latin americ
  • Poor catholic priests used enlightenment ideals
  • Strong leader Miguel Hidalgo rose
  • Created nations to go against spain

STAGE THREE (WARS)

  • 1810, political rights led revolutions throughout South America
  • Hidalgo led an army of 80,000 indian/mestizos against Spain's military.
  • Sound a new leader to continue the war for 10 more years

STAGE FOUR (RESULT)

  • During the rebellion, hidalgo died
  • 1821, Spain granted Mexico independence, a republic was for,med
  • Democracy republics were created threw Latin americ
  • 1824, Latin America won their indepedence.
