  • The genitive is used to show ownership
  • English- Dave's* truck gives him good self esteem.
  • Latin- Arbor Ursae*

  • The direct object, something affected by a verb.
  • English- The bear's tree ran over Fletcher*.
  • Latin- Arbor Ursae pugnat piscinam*.

TIME FOR PRACTICE

  • Make 3 sentences for each Case now that you know what you're doing. Write them on paper.
  • You can use the Latin dictionary.
  • When you're done, hand them in
