LAVA LAMPS

Science behind lava lamps:
The alka-seltzer at he's its self to the water molecules which carry it to the top , makes it pop , then carries it back down to the bottom. The reactions continue in the same movement to make the lava lamp effect.

MATERIAL LIST:

• Empty bottle
• Food coloring
• Vegetable oil
• Water
• Glitter 6.Glow stick 7.Alka-seltzer

STEPS

• Water in bottle half way
• Vegetable oil half way
• Add food coloring
• Put in glow sticks and glitter
• Put in alka-seltzer
