WHAT MATTERS MOST IS WHAT YOU DO DAY BY DAY, OVER THE LONG HAUL. LEADERSHIP IS LEARNED OVER TIME AND IT CAN BE LEARNED. PEOPLE SKILLS, MOTIONAL STRENGTH, VISION, MOMENTUM, AND TIMING ARE ALL AREAS THAT CAN AND SHOULD BE LEARNED. LEADERS ARE ALWAYS LEARNERS.

THE PHASES OF LEADERSHIP GROWTH

#1 I don't know what I don't know.
as long as somebody doesn't know the importance of being a leader he or she is not going to grow

#2 I know what I need to know
at some point we discovered that we need to know how to lead

#3 I know what I don't know.
If we don't get better leadership our careers will eventually get bogged down. At this point you need to develop a plan to see where you need improvement

#4 I know and I grow and it starts to show :

#5 I simply go because I know
This is when your leadership ability becomes automatic .

that's when you look at the Jason's
Breton's, Pete's these leaders just know automatically that they're going to lead
And that's where you want to get to

your ability to lead becomes almost automatic you develop great instincts which results in incredible pay offs. The only way to get there is to obey the law process and pay the price it's an ongoing process.
