THE 16 HABITS OF MIND

BY: COHL BOHANNAN

THINKING ABOUT YOUR THINKING

  • Reflection to look back
  • Evaluate what you did wrong
  • Learn from it
  • One example of this is me getting arrested this fall.
  • I learned not to drink in public places.

THINKING ABOUTH THINKING

  • Also I learned not to break the law
  • If you break the law you will get caught
  • The worst part was I had to sit out of sports

REMAINING OPEN TO CONTINOUS LEARNING

  • It take 20 hours to learn something new
  • My goal is to do my homework
  • That means set time to do homework
  • Then don't get destracted while doing it
  • Take five min breaks Always be ready to learn

THINKNG FLEXIBLY

  • Think out side the box
  • I had to think out side the box when I was rebuilding my quad
  • It was hard with out the manual yo figure out where the peices go.
  • It took a long time rebuilding it but I managed to get it done
  • When I rebuilt the quad it ran great. That is flexible thinking.

PERSISTANCE

  • Never stop trying
  • When something gets hard don't stop
  • Never give up
  • Not to give up on my varsity wrestling spot
  • Always give it your all. You will secede

FINDING HUMOR

  • Being able to laugh at everyday situations
  • When I got arrested their was no good news about it.
  • It was all a bad deal. Their was nothing funny about it.
  • But now it's a funny deal. That I can laugh about now.

STRIVING FOR ACCURACY

  • Doing everything as best as you can.
  • I strive for accuracy in baseball.
  • When you have to throw a strike to get the batter out.
  • It is a difficult thing to throw it right wear you want it to go.
  • But you train to get it to do what you want. That is accuracy.
