PRESENTATION OUTLINE

Learning new things

I have learned a lot of things in this project and I want to share it with you

Create a modern version of Twelfth Night

with words that I say
I did number five and it said " Create dialogue for a modern version of Twelfth Night"
I took a part from the book and rewrite it with modern words, words that I use when I speak. From the book I did a part from Act 3 Scene 1

How did I do it?

so while I was doing this I was thinking how would I say the same sentences but thinking that I was talking to my friends
ex
Whats new?
greetings, friends

Mrs. Parker helped?

When we talked with Mrs. parker by Skype I asked her what can I do if I didn't understand a word or a sentence. She told me that it didn't have to be exactly the same, that I could change it how I understand and that the dialogues make sense. mrs parker helped me a lot to do this project she showed me a lot of things of rewriting.

easy or hard?

  • complicated
  • fun
It was very complicated because I didn't understand a word or sometimes up to a sentence. Sometimes the words had the same meaning so I didn't know what to put.
I realized that words have changed a lot since the past. Reading this book was very difficult to understand for me.

It was fun because I could write whatever I wanted and thinks that was my conversations. In fights I felt like the characters

New words

I learned new words from the past, but it is going to be complicated to use in the present because maybe people will not understand me.
examples of words that I learned:
cleric, a religious leader
beggar, a person homeless who asks for money

HOW CAN I USE MY LEARNINGS?

I could use them everyday words, to look smarter than other people, or to look more old and classy
I also could use them by writing esseys or other type of writing.
I could sound more formal with older words, and it is not only that, I like using old words I think is mysterious

DID YOU LIKE THE PROJECT?

I liked this project because it made me think a lot in the past and present. While I was doing this I imagined myself in th characters and taking like them and it was very funny

Thankyou for listening
