MATHEMATICS

ROOM DESIGN

Math
For this term in math I have chosen my room design project. In this project we have been taking our area and perimeter skills to the next level. I have been feeling very comfortable in this piece because I feel I have used all my skills from area and perimeter to problem solve and accept a new challenge.

Inquiry
For inquiry this term I chose our trip to Port Vancouver. In the trip I learned about geography, transportation,
and the Vancouver Port.

- Geography: A few days before the trip to Vancouver we Google mapped the route we would take.
With that I saw some of the landscape we would experience in the city.

-Transportation: On this trip I had a chance to experience some peoples commute to work or just the way they happened to get around that day.

-Vancouver Port: I learned how we receive and export some food via ship transport.

SKIP ROPE

Skip Rope
Skip rope has been a fun, energetic activity for me to do with my friends. There are also a few extra perks to it as well.
#1: helps me build endurance.
#2: it's something I enjoy that gives me benefits in health.
#3: it gives me and my class mates something cool to do in our free time.

INQUIRY#2

DEBATE ON SUGAR

Inquiry#2
For my second inquiry I choose our debate on "if sugar should be banned in schools". I said no because people should be able to modify their diets to what they think is healthy for themselves. People should buy less processed food for lunches and more fruits and vegetables, therefore I am on the side of free will and moderation. SUGAR SHOULD NOT BE BANNED IN SCHOOLS,healthy options should be more available!!
