Les Claypool is a famous musician, best know for being a bassist and a singer in his band Primus. In addition to being a musician, he has also directed and produced a movie and written a book.
Les Claypool is also the person who wrote and played the South Park theme and the Robot Chicken theme.
He was born named Leslie Edward on September 29, 1963 in
Richmond, California.
Les Claypool was influenced by bands such as Rush, Black sabbath, and Tom Waits.
Les would go on to meet many of his influences, and his band, Primus would even go on tour with Rush.
Les Claypool's sound is very hard to classify into any mix of genres, and is very different from most other bands. His style of playing is very different from most bassists. Also his level of complexity and skill is seldom seen in most bass lines.
