WHAT DID YOU THINK? HOW DID YOU FEEL?

-This was a good learning experience for me
-It allowed me to dive deeper into the music curriculum

-It taught me a simple, yet important lesson for connecting music elements and art
-I enjoyed looking closer at connecting to mood

What did you learn and how do you think did this new learning will impact your current practice?

-I learned that music can be a cross-curricular subject and brought into English and Art

-I learned that the elements of music connect to the mood and can be taught in various methods of discussion, writing, listening to music, and looking at art

-I learned that it is important to give students time to learn independently, in-groups and as a class

I plan to incorporate each of these learnings (and this lesson) into my teaching, taking every opportunity to expand music education further.
