RELEVANCY

  • there is often relevancy in the things we think are irrelevant
  • whenever you find yourself thinking something is irrelevant ask
  • "WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME?"
  • engaging in the class can make it fell more relevant

BOREDOM

  • if you tell yourself it's boring you're just becoming more bored
  • the faster you are thinking the more prone you are to boredom
  • you've just gotta fake it till you make it. :-)

PROCRASTINATION

  • procrastination is putting off something until the last minute
  • do the fun things first to boost your motivation for anything

LISTENING

  • when thinking about other things other than school think
  • "NOT NOW!"
  • make sure to participate in class so you pay attention
  • put things in the "parking lot" of your mind
