IS CHURCH MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED FOR SALVATION ?

Pr 14:12 (NKJV) There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death.

WE cannot answer the question through what everybody else does.

Mt 7:13-14 (NKJV) "Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it.

14 "Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.

We CAN ONLY answer through the Bible,
Psalm 119:105. (NKJV) Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.

Eph 1:22 (NKJV) And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church,

23 which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.

• Called out of what?

Eph 2:1-3 (NKJV)Eph 2:1 ¶ And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins,

2 in which you once walked according to the course of THIS WORLD, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience,

3 among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.

1Jo 2:15-17 (NKJV) Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

1Jo 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

1Jo 2:17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

Members of the church are "called out of the world"

2Th 2:13-14 (NKJV) But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:

14 Whereunto he CALLED you by our GOSPEL, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

IF CHURCH MEMBERSHIP IS NOT REQUIRED FOR SALVATION, WE CAN BE SAVED WITHOUT BEING CALLED OUT OF THE WORLD THROUGH THE GOSPEL .

IS CHURCH MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED FOR SALVATION ?

Eph 2:11-16 ¶ Therefore remember that you, once Gentiles in the flesh--who are called Uncircumcision by what is called the Circumcision made in the flesh by hands--

12 that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world.

13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the BLOOD OF CHRIST.

Eph 2:14 (NKJV) For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation,

15 having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace,

16 and that He might reconcile them both to God in ONE BODY through THE CROSS, thereby putting to death the enmity.

Ac 20:28 NKJV "Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the CHURCH of God which He purchased with His own BLOOD.

IS CHURCH MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED FOR SALVATION ?

Eph 5:25-27 (NKJV) Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the CHURCH and gave Himself for her,

26 that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word,

27 that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.

1Pe 3:21 NKJV There is also an antitype which now saves us--baptism (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
Ac 22:16 NKJV 'And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.'
