Planning process &Description of event

Birthday party: May 19,2016
Planned to save at least $250 by saving money from others or my paycheck from work.
Had to figure out how much it would cost and how I would set up the party

Financial Situation
Really WANTED to get a popcorn machine or cotton candy maker.
NEEDED food and a set up that would accommodate all guests attending the party

Challenges
Might have needed the money for other things
May work less and not earn as much

At first I wasn't sure what to do for his plan but the due date was just a bit ahead of when my sisters bday was so that was my choice. It wasn't as easy to save as I thought it would be. Overall I really liked this project and it gave me a good excuse to plan and event on my own for someone and definitely gave insight on how budgeting works.

Looking for the cheapest option saved a lot of money for this event. The total amount of the party all together was $187.49 and my budget was $200.00 so it was just the right amount to pay for all the expenses.
