FUNCTIONS OF A RBC
The main function of RBC are to transport oxygen and carbon dioxide.
The shape of a RBC is a excavated disk with a flattened center
The size of human RBC is 6.2-8.2um.

BIRTH OF A RBC
The production of RBC is produced primarily by the kidneys.
RBC start as bone marrow and then after maturing they are released.
In to the blood stream.
RBC have no nucleas and can change shape.
RBC only live about 120 days.

PATH OF A RBC
Deoxygenated blood enters the right atrium
Through the inferior vena cava and the superior vena cava.
The blood goes from the right atrium to the right ventricle then
Goes through the tricuspid valve after that it flows through the
Pulmonary artery that carries it to the lungs, then it is oxygenated.q

RBC GAS EXCHANGE
Blood flows to the capillaries surrounding lung alveoli.
The oxygen is released into the alveoli sacs into the blood
Within the surrounding capillaries.
Molecules in the RBC release carbon dioxide picked up from the
Body tissues and become saturated with oxygen.

PATH OF RBC
The pulmonary veins enter the left atrium.
The When the left atrium relaxes, the oxygenated blood drains into the left ventricle
Now the heart really squeezes. As the left ventricle contracts,
The oxygenated blood is pumped into the main artery of the body the aorta.

WHERE DOES IT GO?
After the blood leaves your heart it goes and gives
And pumps blood throughout your whole entire body.
