CHAPTER 33

  • They flip the pages and they see memories from school and other events
  • Pi spots Richard Parker. Mamaji tells Pi he doesn't remember his mother.

CHAPTER 36

  • He touches tip of her nose with his index finger. She giggles and buries her face in his neck
  • “This story has a happy ending” Is what the author infers about a silver lining about Pi
  • Martel 138.
  • This chapter comes from the writers perspective when he enters Pi's house.

  • The writer comes to Pi's house and meets Pi's son
  • The writer sees Pi's daughter and plays with her by guessing her age
  • The writer compares Pi's house to the vastness and emptiness of India
