Why-colonial power/islands originality

LONG TERM- there was tension in the falkland. Argentina had laid claims to these islands in 1820 but Britain occupied and controlled them from 1833, and by 1885 the British community of around 1,800 people on the islands.

SHORT TERM- in 1980's the military regime of Argentina had serious economicprblems. They began to cut public sectors spending and tried to revive the public sectors.

It was a limited war because civilians were not used in the war. There was not many casualties and deaths that occurred during the battle. The war was at a remote island in one year.

  • What- the gulf war starts between US and Iraq forces
  • When- Began August 2nd,1990 when Iraq invaded Kuwaitis for oil
  • Where- In the Middle East
  • Why-War started because Iraq aimed ideal to annex Kuwaiti oil for more power. USA did not like this and aided against Iraq

  • The gulf war was a limited war because the citizens didn't really have much to do in this war even though it affected them they didn't really get involved in it and that was what made it a limited war

  • Who- nationalist vs communists
  • What- civil war
  • When- 1927-1937 and 1946-1949
  • Where- china
  • Why- lack of unification,both had different ideas,there were misleading promises that was made between the two parties,parliamentary party attacked the communist party
