UNDERSTANDING OF LITERACY THROUGH READING

  • Reading has always been one of my strong suits
  • I love being able to understand each character and the message the author tries getting across
  • Reading-based literacy is, to me, all about understanding the big picture
  • It's finding your passion and being able to do what you love
  • It's both relaxing as well as cultivating your intellect at the same time

UNDERSTANDING OF LITERACY THROUGH EXTRACURRICULARS

  • Extracurriculars are a big part of my life

  • It helps people understand what I am passionate about
  • People see me as exemplifying the Beta values and my work ethic from tennis
  • Involvement makes me a well-rounded person

EDUCATION- BASIC

  • Called to have a profession that helps others
  • Interested in the chemical reactions within the human body

UNDERSTANDING OF LITERACY THROUGH EDUCATION

  • Education is so much more than just exams and letter grades
  • Education-based literacy shows to others the type of person that I want to be
  • Networking with professors, learning what interests me, making new friends
  • A great education will set me up for a fulfilling future
  • I'm excited to pursue higher learning in the medical field so I can help others

CONCLUSION

I FIND LITERACY IN READING, EXTRACURRICULARS, AND EDUCATION
