The name lithium came from the Greek word "lithos" meaning stone
because it was found in mineral form apposed to the other group 1
elements, potassium and sodium are found in plants.
Lithium is the lightest of all metals with about half the density of water.
When metal lithium is burned, it turns a white color.

LITHIUM PROPERTIES
Lithium is a very soft, silvery metal.
Lightest of all metals.
It has a low melting point and is quite reactive.
It's physical and chemical properties are more similar
to alkaline earth metals than those of its own group.

WHERE LITHIUM CAN BE FOUND
It can be found Western Australia, Russia, United States,

WHERE LITHIUM CAN BE FOUND ( CONTINUED)
Lithium costs $27 per 100 grams,
If you we're buy it in bulk, the price drops to $9.50
per 100 grams.
Lithium makes up 0.0007% of the earths crust.
